With the MUTE button (16) on the remote
control, the loudspeakers can be muted,
for brief interruptions.
With the METER button (6) you can
adjust the sensitivity of the level meters
when listening at low volume.
The signal which is currently being
amplified is always present on the
REC/OUT Cinch connections (12).
To switch off the system, first switch off
the amplifier with the POWER button (2)
and then switch off the audio source
equipment.
If the equipment is not to be used for a
longer period, it is a good idea to switch
off the power with the mains switch (1)
on the bottom.

Handling

• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has
been taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that develops
may destroy the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the
power supply. Wait until any condensation has evaporated.
• Never connect or disconnect power plugs with wet hands.
• Never disconnect power plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always
pull out the power plug, holding it with the grips provided for this purpose.
• Always remove the power plug from the mains socket if the device is not going to
be used for an extended period of time.
• Make sure that the appliance is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. Under no
circumstances may the air intake openings be covered.
• For safety reasons, always remove the power plug from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for longer periods of time. This could
damage your hearing.
This is helpful for instance when inter-
rupted by a phone call.
When the METER button (6) is depres-
sed, the sensitivity is increased by a fac-
tor of 10 and the corresponding indica-
tor above the button illuminates.
To record you only need to activate the
recording function on the recording
equipment.
If you don't follow the instructions in the
specified order, thumping sounds may
result that could damage the loudspea-
kers.
Set the switch to the „O" position.
