Handling
• Never operate the lamp immediately after bringing it from a cold room into a warm
room. The condensation may destroy the appliance under adverse circumstances.
Leave the appliance turned off until it has reached room temperature. Wait
until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never plug in or unplug the power plug with wet hands.
• Never pull the power cord out of the socket by tugging on it. Use the ribbed sur-
face of the plug.
• If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time, unplug it from the wall
outlet.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation of the appliance during operation. The air intake open-
ings in the front panel as well as the ventilator openings (14) on the back of the
appliance may not be covered up under any circumstances! When installing the
rack during operation, always remove both rack panels!
• Always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet during thunderstorms.
• Do not listen to music at an excessive volume over longer periods of time. This
may damage your hearing.
Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the appliance at regular intervals, e.g. for damages on
the housing or the mains connection.
If safe operation can no longer be assured, put the appliance out of operation and
protect it from being used again accidentally! Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if
the appliance shows visible damage,
• the product no longer functions
• after long storage under adverse conditions or
• after heavy transport strain.
Make sure you observe the following safety notices prior to cleaning or servic-
ing the power amplifier:

Montage / installation
L´amplificateur peut non seulement être installé sur une surface plane mais aussi
monté dans une baie.
Pour un montage dans une baie, l´amplificateur est vissé à l´aide de trous de fixation
dans la barre de la plaque avant. Il doit être fixé en plus dans la baie à l´aide de trous
de fixation sur la face arrière de l´appareil. En raison de l´importance du poids,
l´amplificateur doit toujours être monté en bas, dans la baie.
Lors du choix de l'emplacement pour l'installation de votre appa-
reil, évitez toute exposition directe au soleil, aux vibrations, à la
poussière, à la chaleur, au froid et à l'humidité. L'appareil doit se
trouver éloigné de tout transformateur ou moteur.
Les orifices d´aspiration d´air dans la plaque avant, ainsi que les
ouvertures de ventilateur (15) au dos de l´appareil ne doivent en
aucun cas être recouverts. En cas de montage d´une baie, tou-
jours retirer les deux caches de la baie pendant le fonctionne-
ment.
Faire fonctionner l´amplificateur uniquement sur un support
stable résistant à la chaleur et en position horizontale sans quoi
une correcte circulation d´air ne peut être assurée.
Le non-respect de ces consignes risque d'endommager l'appareil.
Veillez à une fixation sûre ou une installation stable étant donné
que l´importance du poids de l´amplificateur peut présenter un
risque d´accident non négligeable.
