6. Initial operation
REMOTE START/STOP control input
The appliance is equipped with a control input (6.3mm jack-plug socket).
This input enables you to remotely control the Start/Stop function (START/STOP button(2)) via a fader output, that are installed
on most mixing desks. This requires the mixing desk output to have the compatible wiring:
The record player runs with a completed contact, and is off when the contact is interrupted. The contact
must be floating ones.
D) Mains connection
Makes sure that, before you connect the record player to the mains power supply , the operating mode
switch (1) is switched off (turn to the "OFF" position).
1. Connect the plug on the enclosed power adaptor to the mains socket at the back of the record player.
2. Plug the power plug of the power supply cable into a wall socket.
3. The POWER switch (1) is used to switch the record player on and off (ON: appliance is switched on, OFF: appliance is
switched off).

E) Settings

Counterweight setting
Caution: Take care not to damage pick-up's needle while performing the following settings!
1. Turn the anti-skating control to the "0" position.
2. Remove the needle protective covering from the pick-up head (16) by gently sliding it forwards.
3. Open the rest clip on the pick-up arm rest (21) and swing the pick-up arm (18) to the space between the pick-up arm rest
(21) and the turntable (6).
4. Lower the pick-up arm lifter (20) by bringing the pick-up arm lever (22) forwards. Carefully support the pick-up arm with a
finger to avoid it falling down and damaging the diamond needle.
5. Turn the pick-up arm counterweight (24) until the pick-up arm (18) hovers horizontally and level with the turntable (6).
While doing this make sure that the pick-up arm (18) is not resting on anything. The pick-up arm (18) should not be tipping
towards the pick-up head (16) or counterweight (24).
