7. Installation

Remove the record player and all its spare parts and mountings from the packaging. The accessories are also to be found in the protective
polystyrene parts of the packaging. Install your record player on a stabile flat surface.
Setting the voltage
Caution: The device may be operated with different mains voltages.
•
• Before establishing the mains connection, select the correct voltage of your power network using the voltage
selection switch.
• Setting the wrong voltage can result in irreparable damage to the device and exposes the user to risks.
• Set the voltage selection switch below the turntable to the position corresponding to your power grid.
• Use a suitable screwdriver.
Turntable
• Place the turntable onto the turntable axis.
• Place the enclosed carry mat onto the turntable.
Pick-up arm counterweight
• Attach the pick-up arm counterweight to the back end of the pick-up arm on the record player. The scale of the counterweight should be
facing forward to the pick-up head.
• Screw the counterweight up to the halfway mark onto the pick-up arm. For a description of accurate adjustment see "Setting the stylus
force".
Pick-up head
• Make sure before you mount the pick-up head that the pick-up arm is secured in the pick-up arm rest.
• Attach the pre-mounted pick-up system carefully to the pick-up arm.
• Attach the pick-up head by turning the headshell nut counter-clockwise.
