7. Transport

1. Disconnect the mains cable, pull out the cinch cables and unscrew the earthingcable.
2. Secure the pick-up arm (18) with the rest clip.
3. Put the protective plastic covering over the system needle.
4. Remove the pick-up system head (16).
5. Remove the pick-up arm counterweight (24).
6. Remove the turntable (6).
7. Remove the lid and dismantle the hinges (10).
8. Pack the appliance back into its original packing.

8. Handling

1. Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the appliance has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The condensation water that develops may lead to the appliance malfunctioning. Allow the appliance to
reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
2. Never connect or disconnect power plugs with wet hands.
3. Never disconnect power plugs from the mains socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull out the power plug, holding it
at the contact surfaces provided for this purpose.
4. Always pull the power plug out of the mains socket if the appliance is not going to be used for longer periods of time.
5. To ensure an adequate ventilation, there must be an open area of 5cm around the housing. Apart from this, the air
circulation may not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table cloths, curtains or similar.
6. For safety reasons, always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket during thunderstorms.
7. Do not listen to excessively loud music for longer periods of time. This can damage your hearing.

9. Maintenance

Check the technical safety of the supersonic cleaner regularly, for example, for damage to the mains cable or the housing. If
you have reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, then disconnect the appliance immediately and secure
it against inadvertent operation. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- there is any visible damage to the appliance
- the appliance does not function for some reason
- it has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions or
- the appliance has been subjected to unsuitable conditions of transport
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the amplifier:
Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket!
Only appropriately qualified personnel familiar with the hazards involved and with the applicable
regulations is permitted to perform repair works/to open the appliance.
The appliance is maintenance free. For this reason, you should never open it. If you do open it, the guarantee will be rendered
invalid.
The outside of the appliance should be cleaned with a clean dry cloth or brush only. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
or chemical solutions which could damage the housing or impair operation. Be careful that you do not mistakenly alter the
settings for the resting weight or for the antiskating function, while cleaning the appliance.
Make sure that the needle protection is in place while cleaning to avoid unnecessary damage to the pick-up
needle.
