10. Operation

a) Removing the body
Remove the four holding clips on the upper side of the vehicle and lift the body off.

b) Inserting the drive battery into the vehicle

First, switch the vehicle off with the On/Off switch (A)
(switch position "OFF" = off).
Open the battery compartment by unscrewing the two re-
taining screws on the battery compartment lid (B), then
open and remove the battery compartment lid.
Push the cable of the drive battery through one of the side
openings (D) in the battery compartment, then insert the
battery into the battery compartment (C).
Replace the battery compartment lid (B) and secure it with
the two screws.
Ensure that the cable of the drive battery is neither above
nor below the battery, otherwise it will not be possible to
position and close the battery compartment lid.

c) Inserting the batteries into the transmitter

Open the battery compartment on the transmitter (open
the battery compartment lid ) and insert four new AA/Mi-
gnon batteries.
Ensure the correct polarity (positive/+ and negative/-), see
the label on the handle of the transmitter and on the bat-
teries.
Replace the battery compartment lid.
When using rechargeable batteries, the op-
erating time will be reduced considerably due
to the lower voltage (rated voltage: disposable
battery = 1.5 V, rechargeable battery = 1.2 V).
We recommend using only high-quality alkaline
batteries instead of rechargeable batteries.
If you still wish to use rechargeable batteries, ensure that they are fully charged.
