Setting the volume
Press the "Mode" button (10)
once. The display then shows
the volume that has been set.
Selector buttons "up" (2) and
"down" (3) can then be opera-
ted to set the volume required.
Transmission function
Press the "PTT" ("Transmit")
button (6) on the left-hand side
of the housing to start transmit-
ting. Speak with normal voice
volume into the microphone at
a distance of 15 - 20 cm from
the microphone. Once you re-
lease the "Transmit" button, the
appliance automatically swit-
ches to receive mode.
Receive function
If a signal transmitted by ano-
ther LPD appliance is received
on the set channel, the signal is
output via the loudspeaker.

Important!
The volume can be set at eight
different (1-8) levels.
If a selector switch is not ope-
rated for a period in excess of
5 seconds, the appliance auto-
matically terminates the volume
setting process.
Important!
Make sure your partner station
uses the same channel as you,
otherwise your link-up will not
be realised.
Important!
As soon as the appliance recei-
ves a signal, this is shown on
the display ("Busy").
Fonction Intercom
La fonction Intercom permet p. ex. au conducteur d'une moto de
converser directement (comme par téléphone) avec son passager
après raccordement d'un système de micro/écouteur approprié.
Raccorder un système
micro/écouteur approprié à la
prise microphone/haut-parleur
(8).
Pour activer la fonction Inter-
com, appuyer simultanément
sur les touches "Mon" (7) et
"Power" (9).
Astuce !
Lorsque la fonction Intercom
est en service, vous pouvez ac-
tiver en même temps la fonc-
tion VOX, ce qui vous permet
de communiquer avec le pas-
sager et avec d'autres postes
de radiocommunication.
Fonction Scan
La fonction Scan vous permet de surveiller tous les canaux sans
devoir actionner les touches en permanence.
Pour activer la fonction Scan,
appuyer sur l'une des deux
touches de sélection pendant
plus de 2 secondes.

L'activation de la fonction In-
tercom est signalée sur l'écran
par l'affichage du message
"INT".
Nota !
Raccorder tout d'abord le sy-
stème de micro/écouteur avant
d'activer la fonction Intercom.
Cet ordre doit être respecté, si-
non il n'est pas possible d'ac-
tiver cette fonction.

canal utilisé pour une transmis-
sion vocale, il poursuit
