Inleiding
Geachte klant,
Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van het LPD-handzendapparaat
Pocket Com.
U bent met dit product in het bezit gekomen van een robuust en
betrouwbaar apparaat dat volgens de huidige stand van de tech-
niek is gebouwd.
De constructie voldoet aan de Europese en nationale eisen
met betrekking tot elektromagnetische compatibiliteit. Het ap-
paraat voldoet aan de Europese standaard ETS 300 220 resp.
EN 300 220-1 en is bovendien voorzien van het Duitse goed-
keuringsteken alsook het CE-keurmerk. Als zendapparaat met
vaste antenne beschikt het over een CEPT-goedkeuring. Het
gebruik is weliswaar in vele Europese landen toegestaan, maar
toch moet u - voordat u naar het buitenland gaat - informeren
naar de regelingen in het land/de landen die u bezoekt. De
conformiteit blijkt uit de desbetreffende verklaringen en docu-
menten die zich bij de fabrikant bevinden.
Opmerking t.a.v. de goedkeuring!
Aan de constructie van het apparaat mogen geen wijzigingen wor-
den uitgevoerd, d.w.z. dat de op het apparaat aangebrachte rub-
berantenne moet worden gebruikt. Ook mogen er geen maatrege-
len ter verhoging van het zendvermogen worden uitgevoerd. Het
apparaat verliest in dat geval de goedkeuring en de algemene toe-
passingsvergunning. Bovendien leiden technische wijzingen tot de-
fecten aan elektronische componenten. Compensatieposities bin-
nen in het apparaat mogen in geen geval worden gewijzigd. De
compensatie is reeds door de fabrikant optimaal uitgevoerd.

The product you have purchased is a robust, reliable, state-of-the-
art appliance.
Its design complies with both European and national require-
ments in terms of electromagnetic compatibility. The appliance
meets European Standards ETS 300 220 and EN 300 220-1,
where applicable, and carries both a German licensing seal as
well as the CE seal. As a radio appliance with a permanent ae-
rial, it is also CEPT approved. Despite the fact that its operati-
on is allowed in many European countries, the user is advised
to inform himself about any regulations concerning the appli-
ance specific to a given country prior to leaving for the country
in question. Pocket Com's conformity has also been verified;
the relevant declarations and documentation are in the pos-
session of the manufacturer.
Important licence-related information!
No modifications to the physical design of the appliance are allo-
wed, i.e. the rubber aerial fitted to it has to be used. Nor are any
measures permitted which serve to enhance its transmission per-
formance. Otherwise, the appliance loses its licence entitlement as
well as its general operating permit. Furthermore, any technical
modifications made will damage or even destroy the electronic
components. It is also important to note that no adjustments
should be made to parts within the appliance as the optimum ba-
lance is factory-set.
