Fonction VOX
Le Pocket Com est doté d'une fonction VOX. Cette fonction per-
met d'activer l'émission par le signal vocal, sans avoir à appuyer
sur la touche d'émission (6).
a) Pour activer la fonction VOX,
appuyer simultanément sur la
touche "Mon" (7) et sur la tou-
che de sélection "up" (2)
b) Il est possible de régler trois
niveaux de sensibilité pour la
fonction VOX.
c) La fonction VOX étant ac-
tivée, appuyer sur la touche
"Mon" (7) et la maintenir enfon-
cée. Appuyer maintenant sur la
touche de sélection "up" (2)
pendant 2 secondes jusqu'à ce
que le niveau VOX commence
à clignoter.
A l'aide de la touche de sélec-
tion "down" (3), régler la sensi-
bilité voulue et valider le régla-
ge au moyen de la touche de
sélection "up" (2).

Nota !
Le réglage de la sensibilité de
la fonction VOX comporte trois
niveaux (1 à 3).
Le niveau 1 correspond au mi-
nimum de sensibilité, et le ni-
veau 3 au maximum de sensi-
bilité.
CTCSS function
Pocket Com is equipped with a CTCSS function (continuous tone
coded squelch system). A secondary tone interfering with the main
transmission signal automatically opens the receiver's coded
squelch system. If you set a specific CTCSS number on your recei-
ver, it will only respond to calls transmitted from another LPD appli-
ance set to the same CTCSS number.
Important!
If you have activated the CTCSS function, and another station
transmits a signal without the CTCSS code, Pocket Com will show
"Busy" on its display, but the sound of the signal will not be played
via the loudspeaker.
Pressing the "Mon" (7) and
"Mode" (10) buttons simulta-
neously activates the CTCSS
function.
In order to set the CTCSS
channel, press the "Mon" but-
ton (7) and keep it depressed.
Now press the "Mode" button
(10) until such time as the CT-
CSS channel starts to flash.
The "up" (2) and "down" (3) sel-
ector buttons can now be ope-
rated to set the CTCSS channel
required.
The CTCSS channel set and
the transmission channel will
both be shown on the display.
