Correct usage of product

The Pocket Com is a portable radio transmitter / receiver for usage
in the LPD range within the 70 cm (UHF) band. It can be operated
on 69 channels. Its usage requires neither registration nor payment
of any fees. It is not showerproof and should therefore only be
used outdoors to an extremely limited extent. The appliance runs
on three micro-type (AAA) batteries.
Observance of the safety requirements and technical data included
in these Operating Instructions is imperative.
Any other usage apart from that described above
will result in the product being damaged and is not
without risk e.g. short circuit, fire, electric shock
etc. No part of the product may be opened, modi-
fied or converted in any way whatsoever!
