7. Connections and operating elements

(1) Mains switch POWER
Turns the CD player on or off.
(2) CD tray
Put a CD for playback in here. Always insert the CD with the printed side up.
(3) SD connection
Insert the SD storage medium here.
(4) USB connection
Insert the USB storage medium here.
(5) OPEN/CLOSE button (EJECT)
Push this button to eject the CD. The CD cannot be ejected during CD playback.
(6) CD/USB/SD button
Use this button to select the playback carrier CD, USB or SD.
(7) Dial switch TRACK/FOLDER
The dial switch can be used to select a specific track (TRACK) or folder (FOLDER) in the CD or on the stor-
age medium. To confirm your selection, push the dial.
(8) PLAY/PAUSE button
Use this button to start or pause playback.
(9) CUE button
Use this button to reset to the CUE mark and to start the CUE function.
(10) PITCH slider
Use the PITCH slider to change the playback speed. The slider only has an effect if the pitch function has
been activated using the PITCH (12) button.
(11) Buttons PITCH +/-
With these buttons, you can temporarily increase or decrease the playing speed by up to +/-16 %.
(12) Button PITCH (ON/OFF)
Use this button to activate/deactivate the PITCH slider (10) PITCH function or to adjust the control range.
