18. Usable CDs, USB and SD-Memories

Observe the following when producing MP3 data carriers:
max. supported folder layers (Folder layers)
max. supported folder number (Folders)
max. supported tracks (TRACK)
A higher number of sub-folders, folders and tracks cannot be played.
CDs
The CD player is only suitable for playing back standard audio-CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3-CDs, do not
insert any other CDs. Non-finalised CDs cannot be played.
USB memory
USB media up to 128 GB can be connected to the USB interface.
The USB storage medium must be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32. NTFS-formatted USB storage media are
not supported.
Only USB storage media can be operated at the USB connection. MP3 players with a USB port usually
switch into PC mode when this port is connected. In this mode, music files cannot be played.
Optical devices (e.g. CD drive), memory card readers or USB hubs are not supported from the USB con-
nection.
Due to the great variety of systems with USB interfaces and their different functions, some of which are
very producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognized and that all the operational
functions are available on this device.
SD storage devices
SD storage media SD and SDHC up to 32 GB are supported.
The SD storage medium must be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.

er-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognized and that all the operational functions
are available on this device.
