Manual setting of the CUE mark
• To set the CUE mark manually, you have to switch from playback to pause mode at the desired track po-
sition. For this, push the PLAY/PAUSE button (8) during playback. A precise setting can be made with the
JOG/SHUTTLE wheel (21) in the SEARCH function, since the track is scanned in very small steps (frame)
and the search steps can be heard when turning the JOG/SHUTTLE wheel (21). The starting position of
the track is automatically saved as new CUE mark.

i) Search

• Use the PITCH BEND / SEARCH / SCRATCH button (22) to select the function SEARCH for the JOG/SHUTTLE
wheel (21). The function is active when the button is lit.
• Turn the JOG/SHUTTLE wheel (21) counter-clockwise to search backwards or clockwise to search for-
wards.
Rewind with the SEARCH buttons (29) of the remote control.
• Push the SEARCH button (29) on the remote control to start fast forward or rewinding.
During the search, playback is muted. Use the time shown in the display for searching.
After releasing the SEARCH button, the new CUE point is set automatically at this point of the
track.

j) LOOP Function (playback loop)

You can define a playback loop.
• At the desired starting point of the playback loop, push the IN button (13).
• At the desired end point of the playback loop, push the OUT button (14).
• The playback loop is now played continuously until the OUT button (14) is pressed again.
• To start a saved playback loop, push the RELOOP button (15).
The existing playback loop is deleted when a new playback loop is programmed.
