6. Description and Functions

The "FS20 ZPS" Radio Circulating Pump Control serves as a demand-driven control of a hot-
water circulating pump. The "FS20 ZPS" controls the circulating pump via an FS20 switching
actuator only when the user requires it to (i.e. when water is required).
The device allows circulation profiles to be entered via an easy to learn input menu, this allows
the allocation of up to four daily time periods for the operation of the circulating pump. Other
time periods are also programmable, e.g. an interval of 30 minutes within which the pump is
required to operate for 10 minutes, the reaching of specific temperatures at the return etc.
In addition, manual control is also possible via the FS20 remote control. So at any time you can
obtain hot water at the touch of a button, for example to take an enjoyable shower shortly after
starting the pump, afterwards the circulation of water is stopped until hot water is required
again.
The device also has a thermal legionella protection function which ensures that water heated
to a minimum 60°C flows through the entire piping system for a period of time and thus reduces
the legionella risk.
