Each room is assigned its own address group:
• Room A: 11
• Room B: 12 (the awning is also assigned to Room B)
• Room C: 13
• Room D: 14
In the case of an extensive system installation it makes sense to select the addresses in a
systematic manner in order to maintain an overview of the addresses already assigned and
to be able to control the programmed receivers in groups in a logical and simple manner.
Make a schematic diagram of the rooms and mark the controlled devices within
and their addresses if you wish to use several different FS20 components.
In the example diagram each room is assigned its own address group (Room A: 11, Room B:
12, Room C: 13, Room D: 14). The awning is also assigned to Room B with address group 12.
Possible address groups are:
11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32, 33, 34, 41, 42, 43
The value "44" must not be used.
In order for each receiver to be separately controllable, it must be programmed to an individual
address. This requires a sub-address in addition to the preselected address group (Room A:
11, Room B: 12, Room C: 13, Room D: 14).
The following 15 sub-addresses are possible per address group:
11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32, 33, 34, 41, 42, 43
The value "44" must not be used.
In the example the awning is programmed to the individual address 1211 which results from
the combination of address group 12 and the sub-address 11.
Among the receivers in Room A, all have been programmed to a local master address (in this
example it's 1144).
For local master addresses the sub-address must always be 44. The address
group can be set to 11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32, 33, 34, 41, 42 or 43.
Example: 1144, address group 11, sub-address 44
All lamps in the house can be controlled via the global master address.
