• Temperatures (= "Temperaturen")
The "FS20 ZPS" is able to react to the temperatures in the outflow and the return flow of the
household hot water system. It is however necessary to measure the incident temperatures
once.
• For this measurement, the temperature sensors must be correctly attached as described in
the "Installation" chapter and must be programmed to the switching actuator.
Before the measurement is undertaken you must ensure that the pipe section to be
measured is at room temperature. This requires avoiding any hot water flow through the pipe
for a longer period of time, i.e. avoid drawing hot water, as the pipe will otherwise be warmed.
The minimum distance of the temperature sensors to the hot water cistern must also be
maintained or even increased if necessary.
• After you have carried out these initial steps, call up the menu item "Measure outflow"
(= "Vorlauf messen"). The "FS20 ZPS" switches on the programmed switching actuator and
begins to measure.
• After the device has determined the temperature, a confirmation appears in the display and
the switching actuator is switched off.
• Then the measurement of the return temperature ("Measure return" = "Rücklauf messen")
is undertaken in the same manner. Once again you must ensure that the pipe section to be
measured is at room temperature.
• Legionella protection (= "Legionellenschutz")
The legionella protection can be turned on/off at this menu item. In addition you can set the
point in time when the circulating pump is to run for 1 hour. The time point is entered as the
desired day and time, then confirmed.
• Illumination period (= "Beleuchtungsdauer")
Here you set the period of time the background lighting is active in the display, when a button
is pressed or the rotary encoder is activated. At Level "8" the display lighting remains lit the
entire time.
• Factory setting (= "Werkseinstellung")
This menu item allows you to reset the "FS20 ZPS" to its original factory settings.

Please note that all profiles and device settings will then need to be re-entered!
