Intended use

This product helps to save energy by turning electronic devices off completely. Elec-
tronic devices, e.g. TVs, radios or stereo systems, consume a lot of power in stand-
by mode. Completely switching off electronic devices not only saves money but also
ensures a calmer and healthier sleep.
This product is approved for connection to a 230 V/AC 50 HZ (10/16 A) protective
contact socket. The device may only be used in closed, dry rooms. Do not expose it
to moisture. The product is not suited for industrial use.
Do not connect several IR stand-by controls in series as this may lead to malfunc-
tion.
Any use other than the one described above is not permitted. Moreover, this
involves hazards such as e.g. short-circuits, fires, electric shock etc.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
