extension cable. An interrupted protective conductor poses the risk of a mortal elec-
tric shock! Operation without a protective conductor connection is not permitted
unless a Euro plug is used at the output. Never pour out any liquid above the device.
There is danger of fire or a life-threatening electric shock. In case any liquid pene-
trates the device, trigger the RCD immediately, then separate the device from the
mains outlet and contact an expert. Keep electrical devices out of the reach of chil-
dren. Special attention must be paid if children are present, as children might try to
insert objects into the device. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock. This product
is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children! The device has a unipolar
relay, which means that the phase may still be applied at the output socket even if
the device is switched off.
Separate the device from the mains
• before cleaning it
• if you do not use it for a longer period of time.
• during thunderstorms
If you have a reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely,
disconnect it immediately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Trig-
ger the RCD immediately and then separate the device from the mains outlet. It
must be presumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
• there is visible damage to the device or to the connection cables,
• the device no longer functions
• the device was transported or stored under unfavourable conditions.
Before cleaning or servicing the device, observe the following safety notices:
When opening covers or removing casing parts you may expose live parts. There-
fore, disconnect the device from all voltage sources before performing maintenance
or repair work. Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they
have been disconnected from all voltage sources. Only qualified experts familiar
with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations may perform repairs. In com-
mercial institutions, the relevant accident prevention regulations of the professional
insurance associations concerning electric systems and operating materials must
