In-wall Switch and Digital
Weekly Timer

Intended Use

This product combines two functions in to one device. Two loads can be connected to the in-wall
switch/weeklytimer combination. One user can be activated or. deactivated manually using the
switch on the front, the other user is controlled and switched by the internal weekly timer.
16 switching programs can be entered. The product also has a countdown function and a ran-
dom function.
The product is approved for in-wall installation (i.e. suitable cavity wall box from Conrad
Electronic: Order no. #624918, #624926, #612132).
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any other use than that described above, could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
Observe the safety instructions in their entirety!
Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to obser-
ve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only the CE approval will
become void but also the warranty.
• In addition, follow the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that
are connected to the device.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use protective
gloves.
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
intense vibrations or heavy mechanical stresses.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to adjust to
the surrounding temperature. Wait until the product has adjusted to the ambient
temperature before use.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety or the cor-
rect use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic film/bags etc.
can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, discon-
nect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• The accident prevention regulationsof the association of compensation insurers
must be followed when using all electrical facilities and equipment in commercial
locations.
• The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
• The product is approved for in-wall installation.
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat sources are
in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from a low height and
any pressure applied to the components can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. You run the risk of causing a fire
or a fatal electric shock.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical service or another specialist.

The product is approved for in-wall installation (i.e. suitable cavity wall box from Conrad

It is necessary to remove the front cover during installation. Depending on the in-wall box, cav-
ity-wall box etc. the installation, should the occasion arise, may differ.

Hour mode
The hour mode is active, when the current time is shown on the LCD-display.
Setting the current weekday and time
• Press the „OK" button for 2 seconds, while the product is in the hour mode. The indicator for
the weekday (the weekdays are shown in English initials: MO (=Monday), TU (=Tuesday), WE
(=Wednesday), TH (=Thursday), FR (=Friday), SA (=Saturday), SU (=Sunday)) starts to flash.

Thereafter the indicator for setting the current hour flashes.

• The current weekday, the current hour and one of the 4 possible exit modes are shown on the
LCD-display.
The installation and connection may only be performed by a qualified electri-
cian.
The connection terminals for the product are
labelled with L, X2, N, X1, X1.
Explanation:
L: Connection for the operating voltage,
phase 230 V/AC.
N: Connection for the operating voltage, neu-
tral wire 230 V/AC.
X2: Here, the connected load is switched by
the internal weekly timer/countdown or the
randomfunction respectively. Connect the
load as in the picture to the left.
X1: Here, the connected load is activated or
deactivated by the switch on the front.
Functions
Press to select the desired mode. Programming mode, countdown mode or hour
mode.
Press to confirm the selected setting. Press two seconds in the hour mode, to acti-
vate the hour setting mode.
Press to change the day, time and channel in ascending order. Press to activate
or deactivate the random function (RDN) in the hour mode.
Press to change the day, time and channel in descending order. Press to activate
or deactivate the random function (RDN) in the hour mode.
Cancel all the settings. The hour mode is returned to 00:00 after a few seconds.
Cancels the setting just entered.
Switches the Summer Time function (+ 1h) in the hour mode on or off.
Stops the countdown in the countdown mode and returns it to 0.00.
