• If the same remote control button is pressed for activating/deactivating the socket,
this button can be used for activation AND deactivation (toggle function).
Activating/deactivating the mains socket
• The teaching-in process must be completed before you can turn on the socket!
• You can always activate the socket by pressing the remote control button which
you have taught in to activate the socket.
• If you press the remote control button to deactivate the socket, the LED flashes for
a minute and then the socket is deactivated. During this time appliances have the
option to shut down their operating system. This rules out any data loss.
• It is also possible to deactivate the socket automatically after a certain time of
operation. The operating time is set on the rotary control and depends on the set
mode. This is described in detail in the chapter "Resettable mode" and "Non-reset-
table mode".

Setting the activation time

• Via the rotary control of the IR receiver, you can set the activation time of the sock-
et. This can be set continuous from one minute up to four hours.
• During this time, the LED in the casing of the IR receiver starts to flash in the last
minute, which indicates that the socket will be deactivated after this time.
• Via the right end position of the rotary control, you can permanently activate the
socket. In this condition, the socket can only be deactivated by pressing the deac-
tivation button on your IR remote control.
• If the socket is activated, and the rotary control position is changed, the time is
applied automatically without having to press a remote control button again.
