Introduction
Dear customer,
You have acquired the digital thermometer 303K/J - a thermometer
which is built to the latest and highest technological standards.
Its design corresponds to DIN VDE 0411, Part 1 for thermome-
ters = EN 61010-1. Moreover, it is EMC-tested (for the interior
domain) and therefore corresponds to the standards of the
established European and national guidelines. Conformity has
been proven; the relevant documents are in the possession of
the manufacturer.
To preserve this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user
has to heed this operating manual!

Prescribed use
Measuring of temperatures ranging from -200°C to +1370°C or -
328°F to +2498°F by means of an external temperature sensor (K-
type).
Measuring of temperatures ranging from -50°C to max. +200°C or -
58°F to +392°F with the enclosed temperature sensor type K.
Measuring of temperatures ranging from -200°C to +760°C or -
328°F to +1400°F by means of an external temperature sensor
(J-type).
Measurements carried out under contrary environmental conditions
are inadmissible. Contrary environmental conditions are:

- Nattigheid of te hoge luchtvochtigheid
- Stof en brandbare gassen, dampen of oplosmiddelen
- Onweer of onweerachtige condities zoals sterke elektrostati-
sche velden, enz.
Een andere hantering kan tot een beschadiging van het meetinstru-
ment leiden, dit is bovendien met gevaren, zoals bv. kortsluiting,
brandgevaar, elektrische schok, enz. verbonden. De thermometer
mag niet worden aangepast of omgebouwd! U dient ten allen tijde
rekening te houden met de genoemde veiligheidswenken!
Bedieningselementen

1. Meetingang "+" en "-", kanaal T1, voor een temperatuursensor
van het type K of J
2. Meetingang "+" en "-", kanaal T2, voor een temperatuursensor
van het type K of J
3. Multifunctioneel display met een groot veld (4 cijfers) en een
kleiner veld of subdisplay (4 cijfers) + uitlezing van de functies
en meeteenheden
4. In-/Uit-toets
5. Toets "HOLD" om de meetwaarde op te slaan (bij snel veran-
derlijke meetsignalen)
6. Toets "T1 T2, T1 - T2" voor de uitlezing van de temperaturen
T1 of T2 of T1-T2 op het hoofddisplay
7. Toets "REL" voor de uitlezing van relatieve waardemetingen op
het hoofddisplay
8. "MAX MIN AVG" - toets voor de uitlezing van de gemeten mini-
male, maximale en gemiddelde waarde op het hoofddisplay
