MP3-CD Search Function

Where MP3-CDs are used, searches can be made according to track/file or album/directory name. Of
course, this feature is only available for use where the corresponding information is saved on the CD.
Example structure of an MP3 data carrier:
ROOT/Album 01
Title 001
Title 002
Title 003
Album 02
Album 03
Where MP3 files are not held in a directory, the device will order these under ROOT, album number 01.

Searching for tracks:

1. Press the FIND button (30) to switch to track search mode. The looking glass symbol appears in the
display.
2. Using the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF button DDI (3) you can select the first letters/number of a title.
All tracks beginning with these letters/numbers will then be listed.
3. Where several titles begin with the selected letters/numbers, press and hold the DOWN/REW button
IGG or the UP/FF button DDI (3), until the looking glass symbol ceases to flash. Using the IGG
DOWN/REW or UP/FF button DDI (3) you can select between all entries e.g. A-APPLE, A-ANGEL
etc..
4. Press the PLAY (5) button. The track selected will be played.

Album Name Search:

1. Press the FIND button (30) twice in order to switch to album search mode. The looking glass symbol /
ALBUM appears in the display.
2. Using the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF buttons DDI (3) you can then select the required album and
start playback by pressing the PLAY (5) button.
The word ROOT will appear, when the CD contains no album or when the CD contains
individual tracks not sorted into an album.
