Connecting the AUX-IN-Input

To avoid distortion or mismatching which could damage
the device, the AUX-IN input (18) should be connected only to devices which
also have cinch connections
The white cinch socket is connected with the left cinch socket of the AUX device.
The red cinch socket is connected with the right cinch socket of the AUX device.
This connection is suitable only for LINE devives (e.g. CD-players, radios, com-
puter sound cards etc.). Direct connection of a record player is not possible.

Connecting the power supply

Plug the audio centre into a mains socket (230V~/50Hz) linked to the public power supply network.

Inserting/replacing the batteries

Keep batteries away from children.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.
The batteries must not be short-circuited, opened, taken apart or thrown into the
fire. Never try to charge batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
Old or used batteries can leak chemicals that can damage the device. Therefore
if the device is not to be used for a long time (e.g. storage), remove the batteries.
Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore,
use suitable protective gloves.
Only use batteries of the correct size and recommended type.
