The most economical set up in terms of space is to position the speakers left and right
of the device.
Alternatively, you can set up the loudspeakers in some distance from the device. In this case, please
heed the following setup instructions to achieve an optimum sound.
Position the speakers at an equal distance from the point at which you will be listening (equilateral triangle).
The loudspeakers should be approximately at the height of your ears. Experiment with your setup possi-
bilities and the alignment of your loudspeakers to determine the best location in your room.
Connection
Before connecting the AUX-device, ensure that it is disconnected from the
mains. Similarly, all other devices to be connected should be disconnected from
the electricity supply
Ensure that all connection are made the right way round, that is, left to left and right to
right.
Connection of the loudspeakers
Connect the loudspeaker cinch cables to the device.

Right speaker:

External VHF Aerial
To achieve optimum VHF reception for the device, the external VHF projection aerial (21) must be
unwound completely. Lay the external aerial such that the device receives the broadcasting stations well
when in VHF radio mode. Experiment with the position of the external aerial.
Metallic objects such as reinforced concrete walls, vapour-deposited mirrors,
sheet metal shelves and the like may affect the reception quality. There should
be no devices with strong electrical fields such as mobile telephones, radios and
electrical motors etc. in the vicinity of device and aerials.
Devices of this kind may also affect the reception considerably.
