TIMER

Before setting the timer, ensure that the clock is correct. The timer feature is only pos-
sible with respect to CD and TUNER playback.
1. Place the desired CD in the CD tray or switch to radio mode and using the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF
buttons DDI (3) select the desired radio station. The timer will then start CD/radio playback depend-
ing on your choice of setting.
2. Press the TIMER (19) button to commence timer programming. Where a time has already been set for
the time, the TIMER (19) button must be pressed and held in order to switch to timer programming
mode. A clock symbol and the word ON will appear in the display. The display will flash „00":00.
3. You can now enter the start time. Press the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF buttons DDI (3), to set the
hour.
4. Press the TIMER (19) button again, the minutes will now flash.
5. Press the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF buttons DDI (3), to set the minutes.
6. Press the TIMER (19) button again to save the start time.
7. Repeat steps 3 - 6 to set the time when playback should stop.
8. The word TUNER or CD will appear in the display. Using the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF buttons DDI
(3) select the playback source.
9. Press the TIMER (19) button to save the playback source.
10. Volume will be indicated in the display. Press the IGG DOWN/REW or UP/FF buttons DDI (3), to set
the desired volume.
11. Press the TIMER (19) button again to save these settings.
12. All data entered will run quickly across the display.
13. Switch the device off using the POWER (1) button. The clock symbol and current time will appear in
the display. The timer function is activated The device will now switch itself on and off and the times
you have entered.
14. In order to deactivate the timer function, press the TIMER (19) button again. The clock symbol will
disappear from the display. Press the TIMER (19) button again in order to reactivate the timer fea-
ture. All data entered will run quickly across the display.

SLEEP Function

The SLEEP function allows you to set a time period after which the device will switch itself off automati-
cally.
1. Press the SLEEP (27) button on the remote control. The words „SLEEP 90" will appear in the display.
