f) Function "Record" (voice recording)

With this function, you can perform voice recording via the integrated microphone.

The multimedia player features an integrated microphone (opening on the top,
left next to the "Hold" slider (imprint "MIC" on the casing).
In the main menu, select the function "Record" with the buttons "" and ""; briefly press the
button "" for confirmation.
The multimedia player is in playback mode for already available recordings (the first recording
is displayed).

With initial operation (or if the recordings are transferred to the computer and
deleted on the multimedia player), no recording is shown. With the button "opt",
change to start of a recording, see below.
• Brief press of the button "opt": Calling up or leaving the setup menu
- With the buttons "" or "" select the respective menu point, confirm the selection with
a brief press of the button "".
- "Repeat": In this menu you can make different settings to define how the recordings are
played back or repeated (random playback is also possible, for example).
- "Speed": Increasing/decreasing the speed of the currently selected recording
- "Start Record": Starting a new recording or pause via the button ""; saving the
recording by pressing and holding the button "opt" (file is called "MICxxxx", whereby "xxxx"
is the number of the recording)
• Briefly press the button "": Start/pause of the playback of the selected recording
• Pressing and holding "M": Back to the main menu
