g) Function „Record"
With this function, you can perform voice recording via the integrated microphone.

A microphone is integrated in the multimedia player (opening on the front
between the operating panel and the LC display.
Up to 99 recordings are possible.
In the main menu, select the function „Record" with the buttons „   " or „    "; briefly press
the button „MENU" for confirmation.
The following functions are available:
• Brief press of the button „MENU": Starts settings menu (as described in the chapter
„Operation", select the desired function with the buttons „   " or „    " and confirm with the
button „MENU"):
„Local Folder": Show directories
„REC type": Selection between the recording types „Fine REC", „Long REC", „Fine VOR" and
„Long VOR".
„Fine" is the better quality, „Long" requires less memory. „REC" is a normal recording, with
„VOR" the recording is speech-activated (meaning the device only records if the volume is
above a certain level). This saves memory with voice recordings with longer breaks).
„Exit": Back to recording mode
• Brief press of the button „" (or „REC"): Start of recording or pause
• Long press of the button „" (or „REC"): Stop recording, save file
• Long press of the button „MENU": Back to the main menu
