Basic functions

a) Switching on/off
Press the on/off switch (see chapter "Operating elements", position "C") until the multimedia
player turns on or off.

b) Key lock ("HOLD")

The slider "HOLD" on the top of the multimedia player (see chapter "Operating elements",
position "B") turns the key lock on or off.

With activated key lock, all operating functions of the multimedia player are
deactivated. This prevents unintentional key operation, e.g. in case you put
your multimedia player into your pocket during playback.

c) Main menu, function selection

The individual functions are selected in the main menu, which appears when you turn the
multimedia player on with the buttons "" and "".
Confirm your selection by briefly pressing "".
By keeping the button "M" depressed for approx. 1 second, you access the previous menu.

Due to the fact that the multimedia player has a touch-sensitive surface, it is
sufficient to slightly touch the corresponding keys.
d) Reset
In case of function disruptions, it might be necessary to reset the multimedia player, e.g. in case
strange characters appear on the display. For this purpose, press the "reset" button (see
chapter "Operating elements", position "H") carefully for 1 to 2 seconds with a toothpick.
Slide the slider to the left towards the marking "HOLD". The display
shows "HOLD".
