Charging the
internal accumulator
a) General Information
Only charge the multimedia player via the enclosed power pack unit or a USB
port on a computer or USB hub.
Otherwise you damage the charge electronics and the multimedia player.
There is also danger of fires or explosion due to the integrated LiPo accumulator!
Refer to the two chapters "Safety notices" and "Accumulator notices".
• With a completely empty rechargeable battery, the charging procedure may last several
hours.

As already described, the charging procedure can be effected independently
from the state of the rechargeable battery. Due to the LiPo technology, no
previous discharging is necessary, since there is no so-called memory effect.
Due to the integrated charging electronics, the rechargeable battery does not
get over-charged. The charging procedure switches off timely.
• The accumulator is spent if the multimedia player cannot be turned on or turns off during
operation.
An accumulator symbol additionally appears on the display with many functions (e.g.
playback of an MP3 file), which helps you to check the charge status.

b) Charging via the supplied power pack unit

• Connect the USB socket of the multimedia player with the corresponding plug of the power
pack unit.
• Insert the plug-in power supply into a normal mains socket (230V AC/50Hz).
• The charge process starts (accumulator icon on the top right of the display).

You can operate the multimedia player during the charge process (e.g. start
playback of an MP3 file, etc.).
• If the accumulator icon no longer moves, separate the multimedia player from the power
pack unit, and pull the power pack unit out of the mains outlet.
