c) Charging via the PC's USB port

• Charging always takes place automatically each time the multimedia player is connected to
a computer (e.g. to copy MP3 files).

When connecting the device to a computer, the keys are without function and
you cannot play back any multimedia files.
• Please note that the USB ports may be turned off when you turn off the computer via the front
button (computer in standby-mode). This depends on your computer's mainboard.
Then charging is of course no longer possible. The same applies when the computer is
turned off via its mains switch.
As it doesn't make sense to keep the computer running just for the charge process, you may
also use a USB hub with own mains cable. This normally remains activated when the
computer is turned off.
Alternatively, just use the enclosed power pack unit to charge the accumulators of the
multimedia player.
