- If you would like to weigh without the measuring con-
tainer remove it from the weighing plate (2) and press
the TARE key (9). The TARE indication (5) disappears
from the LC display.
Please observe that the weighing range of
the Pocket Scale including the weighing
container is between 250g and 500g.
Therefore, it is useful to use a measuring
container with a low weight.
Calibration (CAL)
In order to ensure the maximum accuracy of the Pocket
Scale as long as possible, it has to be calibrated regu-
larly, particularly after rapid temperature changes or
mechanical stress.
For calibration proceed as follows:
- Switch the Pocket Scale off by pressing the On/Off
key (11).
- Press and hold the ZERO key (10) and switch the
Pocket Scale on by means of the On/Off key (11).
Release the ZERO key after approx 5 seconds. The

cell to lead storage batteries). Do not dispose of used
batteries via the household rubbish!
You can return used batteries and storage batteries free
of charge to our subsidiaries, to our central office in
Hirschau as well as to special collecting facilities of your
town (collecting boxes) which are obliged to take back
used batteries. Make your contribution to environmental
protection!

Operation

Weighing
- Place the Pocket Scale onto a horizontal and stable
surface.
- Switch the Pocket Scale on by pressing the On/Off
key (11). Now, the Pocket Scale performs a "Power
Up" test.
For this purpose, the display indicates all
segments for approx 3 seconds, then the
