- Select the quantity (S=10, S=20, S=50, S=100) serv-
ing as basis for the piece counting by means of the
N/G key (7). The larger the quantity, the more acurate
is the counting.
- Put the selected quantity of the weighing material
onto the weighing plate (2).
- Press the mode key (8), the display indicates "CAL".
After the calibration is done, the selected piece num-
ber is indicated on the display.
- Now, put the whole quantity of the weighing material
onto the weighing plate (2). The display indicates the
respective piece number.
Selecting the weight unit
You can choose between the weight units g (grammes) /
oz (ounces) / ct by means of the mode key (8).
Switching off the Pocket Scale
Switch off the Pocket Scale by pressing the On/Off key
(10).
To save battery capacity, the Pocket Scale is equipped
with an automatic shut-off function. Due to this func-
tion, the Pocket Scale switches off automatically after
approx. 4 minutes of operation.

etc.) might involve indicating errors. Avoid unfavorable
ambient conditions such as air draft, vibrations or
strong temperature deviations!
The guarantee will expire in case of opening or over-
charging the Pocket Scale!

Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

For operation, the Pocket Scale requires three micro
batteries (type AAA).
Battery indication "LOW-BAT"
In case of empty batteries, the display indicates the
"low-bat" indication (empty battery) (3).
In case of this indication, immediately replace the bat-
teries, because with insufficient battery capacity it is not
possible to ensure exact measuring values.
Battery replacement
To insert/replace the batteries, proceed as follows:
- Push the battery compartment cover (15) at the back
of the Pocket Scale towards the top of the device.
