If the indication does not show "0.00", press
the tare key (9). Immediately after switching
it on, the Pocket Scale is ready for operation.
Nevertheless, a short warm-up phase of
approx. 1 minute might be helpful to stabi-
lize the measuring values.
Avoid unfavorable ambient conditions such
as air draft and vibrations as these might
involve unstable measuring values. Never
put permanent charges onto the weighing
plate (2).
- Now, put the weighing material onto the weighing
plate (2).
Make sure the weighing material does not touch the
Pocket Scale housing or the surface it stands on.
- Read the weight of the weighing material after stabi-
lization of the measuring value.
Overcharge
-If the weighing material is heavier than the weighing
range of the Pocket Scale, the display shows "EEEEEE"
(error).

In case of overcharge, immediately remove
the weighing material from the weighing
plate (2). Observe that overcharge might
involve damaging of the highly sensitive
weighing unit. Those damages are excluded
from the guarantee.
TARE function
The TARE function is intended for weighing non-solid
substances such as liquids, powders, etc.
The TARE function balances the weight of the used
measuring container so that the display shows the net
weight of the substance to be measured.
- Put the empty measuring container onto the weighing
plate (2) of the switched-on Pocket Scale and wait until
the indication is stable.
- Press the TARE key (9). Despite the measuring con-
tainer, the display indicates "0.00". Furthermore, the
display indicates the TARE indication (5).
- Now, fill the weighing material into the measuring
container. The weight indication (12) on the display
euqals the net weight of the weighing material.
- With the N/G (net/gross) key (7) in the TARE mode you
can change between the net weight (without measur-
