Safety instructions

In case of any damages which are caused due to failure to
observe this operating manual, the guarantee will expire!
We do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for
personal injury caused by improper use or the failure
to observe the safety instructions . The guarantee will
expire in any such case.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
Always observe the safety instructions, warnings and the chapter "Prescribed
use" in order to ensure safe operation.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in the
operating manual. Carefully read the whole operating manual before
putting the device into operation.
The device is not a toy for children! Keep it out of reach of children!
Do not expose the device to mechanical stress and avoid contact with
humidity or liquids. Use the device under favorable weather conditions only or
ensure appropriate protection for outdoor use.
The electronic Pocket Scale PS-10 is a precise measuring instrument.
Operation in an environment with strong electromagnetic radiation (electric
engines, mobile phones, transmitters etc.) might cause deviations of the
indication. Please avoid disturbing ambient conditions such as e.g. air drafts,
vibrations or strong temperature variations.
The guarantee will expire in case of opening or overloading the Pocket Scale.

Inserting/replacing the batteries

For operation, the Pocket Scale requires for micro batteries (AAA) which are
not enclosed in the delivery.
Battery indication "LOW-BAT"
In case of exhausted batteries, the „LOW-BAT" indication (8) (empty batteries)
appears on the LC display (2). If this indication appears, immediately replace
the batteries. Due to insufficient battery capacity it is not possible to ensure
precise measuring values.
