e) Slave Mode
In this operating mode, the slave devices are controlled by the controller of the connected master device. Every slave
device emits the master's laser pattern synchronously to the master device.
It is connected as described above in "Setting up a Master-Slave Chain".
• Push the button FUNC repeatedly until "SLA" flashes in the display.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• The laser now runs in slave mode and is controlled synchronously via the controller of the connected master device.
f) Operation via IR Remote Control
The device must not be in slave mode, because in that mode remote control via the IR is not
possible.
The IR receiver (11) is located in the front of the device, close to the laser aperture (13). Point the
IR remote control at the IR receiver (11) without entering the laser range. Laser irradiation may
cause eye and skin damage.
Since the IR commands are reflected by bright walls, it may be sufficient to point the remote control at
a bright wall in front of the device.
• Push the button FUNC repeatedly until "rEM" flashes in the display.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• The laser is now controlled by the IR remote control.
When the laser is in another operating mode (except in slave mode), you can also push the button ON/
OFF at the IR remote control for two seconds. This automatically switches the laser to this operating mode
(the display shows "rEM").
