11. Mains Connection

The mains socket to which the laser is connected must be close to the device and easily
accessible to quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause
potentially fatal electric shock.
Never leave cables lying around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents or
damage to the mains line.
Before plugging in the mains plug, ensure that the device voltage indicated at the laser
corresponds to the available mains voltage. Do not connect the device if the indication does not
correspond to the available mains voltage. Incorrect supply voltage may lead to irreparable
damage to the device and danger to the user.
The key switch (7) always has to be deactivated when connected to the mains (position LOCK)
to avoid inadvertent activation of the laser irradiation.
• Connect the mains cable low-voltage plug to the mains connection (8) at the device.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains line into a grounded socket.
• The power supply of the laser is activated and deactivated with the mains switch (5).
Position I > power supply on
Position 0 > power supply off
• With the power supply on, the display POWER (10) at the front of the device is lit.
• 2 prerequisites must be met to activate the laser and release the laser irradiation:
- Safety lock deactivated >> contacts at the connection REMOTE (6) open
- Key switch (7) on (Position ON)
