4. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/
guarantee will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee/warranty will expire!
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but also
for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
a) General Safety Notes
• The operator must observe the country-specific accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial
workers' societies for electrical equipment and utilities.
• Assembly, commissioning and operation of this product shall require correspondingly qualified specialist staff and
only under consideration of the requirements named here. Keep children and unqualified people away from the
device.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not permitted.
• The device contains no parts that require servicing by the user. Never try to repair the device on your own.
Therefore, never open the device. In this case, take the device to a specialist workshop for repair.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures (>40 °C), dripping or splashing water, high moisture, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Only operate the device in moderate climate, never in tropical climate.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
• Do not operate the device unattended.
• Disconnect the device from the mains when it is not in use and before you clean the device (pull the mains plug!)
• Devices that are operated with mains voltage have no place in the hands of children. Therefore, be particularly
careful when operating the device in the presence of children, in particular keep them from trying to push objects
into a device through the housing opening. There is the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock.
• Do not leave any packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Consult an expert if you are unsure as to the function, safety or connection of the product.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if there are any questions that are not covered by the operating
instructions, do not hesitate to contact our technical support or another specialist.
