12. Operation

The laser protection officer charged by the entrepreneur must be present every time this laser
device is taken into operation. He must control and monitor operation.
a) Switching the Laser On and Off
The following prerequisites must be met to switch the laser effect on:
• The mains switch (5) must be switched on (position I).
• The safety lock connected to the connection REMOTE (6) must be deactivated (contact must be open).
• The key switch (7) must be put in the position ON.
• Switch off the laser after operation by putting the key switch (7) into the position LOCK and removing it, and
switching off the mains switch (5) (position 0).
If the laser is not in operation, the key must be removed from the key switch (7). Keep it in a safe
place so that unauthorised operation is prevented.
The device also must be disconnected from the mains (disconnect the mains plug) when not in
operation.
Unsupervised operation must be prevented.
Use the LED panel (1) and the function buttons FUNC, UP, DOWN and ENTER to set the operating mode:
• FUNC selects the operating mode.
• UP and DOWN change the operating mode, parameters or DMX-address.
• ENTER confirms the selection made.
b) Automatic Operation
• Push the button FUNC until the display flashes.
• Select automatic mode "Aut" with the buttons UP/DOWN.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• The laser is now running in automatic mode and emitting the pre-programmed laser patterns.
