12. Operation

c) Sound-to-Light Mode

• Push the button FUNC until the display flashes.
• Select Sound-to-light mode "Sou" with the buttons UP/DOWN.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• The laser now runs in sound-to-light mode and changes the laser patterns in time with the music.
• To adjust the sensitivity of the microphone to the music volume, push the button FUNC twice until "S 0" to "S 9"
is displayed.
• Select the desired microphone sensitivity ("S 0" = lowest sensitivity to "S 9" = highest sensitivity) with the UP/DOWN
buttons.
• Confirm your selection again with ENTER.
The laser patterns should change in time to the music now. The display MUSIC (12) at the front of the
device lights up if the music impulse was recognised by the microphone.
If no music impulse was recognised for more than three seconds, the laser beam is deactivated.
d) DMX Mode
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the controller.
This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds. The remaining control
channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 17 free DMX channels.
Setting the DMX starting address
• Push the button FUNC repeatedly until the DMX start address (a number from 001 to 496) flashes.
• Set the desired DMX start address with the buttons UP/DOWN.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
Confirmation of the DMX starting address is only possible when a DMX controller is connected to the
connection DMX INPUT (4).
