b) Fastening the camera

• Fasten.the.camera.to.a.tree,.a.wall.or.another.sturdy.object.using.the.provided.fastening.strap.or.
the.provided.wall.bracket.(27)..
• You.can.use.the.wall.bracket.socket.(9).to.fasten.the.camera.to.the.wall.bracket..
• If.you.fasten.the.wall.bracket.to.a.wall.or.exterior.wall.of.a.house,.you.must.first.drill.mounting.
holes. You can use the provided screws and screw anchors to fasten the wall bracket.
• Choose a suitable installation surface.
• Mark.the.position.of.the.mounting.holes.on.the.mounting.surface,.for.example.using.a.pencil..Use.
the wall bracket as a template.
• Drill four mounting holes in the surface.
When. drilling. or. tightening. screws,. make. sure. not. to. damage. any. cables,. wires. or.
pipes located underneath the surface.
• Attach.the.product.to.the.surface..
• Loosen.the.setscrew.of.the.ball.joint.in.order.to.tilt.and.pan.the.housing.as.desired..Lock.the.
position by tightening the setscrew.
• Fasten the camera so that the battery compartment cover faces upward to prevent water from
entering the housing via the controls and LC display.
c) Using the camera in PIR mode
• Open.the.bottom.cover.(7).and.switch.the.TEST OFF CAM PSET switch to CAM or PSET position.
Set.the.camera.to.PIR.
Recording images
• Push the M key once.
• "CAM".or."VIDEO".flashes.in.the.upper.left.corner.of.the.LC.display..If."CAM".does.not.flash.on.the.
LC.display,.push.the. .key.to.switch.to."CAM".mode.
• Push the OK.key.to.confirm..Then.push.the.M key to leave the menu.
