5. Safety instructions

The warranty will lapse for damage due to non-
compliance with these operating instructions. We
shall not be liable for any consequential loss!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property
or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or
non-compliance with the safety instructions. Any
claim to warranty will lapse in such cases.
Dear Customer,
The following safety instructions are intended not
only for the protection of your health but also for
the protection of the device. Please read through
the following points attentively:
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthor-
ised conversion and/or modification to the product
are not permitted.
• A 9V-monobloc battery has to be used for the volt-
age/power supply for the measuring device (alka-
line type is recommended).
• The product may not become damp or wet. Avoid
excessive heat, cold or direct sunlight when keeping
the battery/during operation..
• The device is not a toy. The product has no place in
the hands of children!
• The product is only suitable for measuring the
internal resistances of accumulators (observe the
technical data in these operating instructions).
The polarity of the measuring cables towards
the accumulators must be observed without
fail; otherwise, the measuring device will be
destroyed.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around care-
lessly. Plastic foil/bags and polystyrene parts etc.
could become dangerous toys for children.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged
through impact, blows or by being dropped even
from a low height.
