8.10 General notes to the channel and group selection
It is possible to control groups of lights in addition to operating them on multiple channels. For
instance, you can set one or more lights to Group A and other sets of lights to Group B, Group
C through Group F (6 Groups). You can then control all lights in the same group simultaneously
if they are all on the same channel 1-50. Individual lights in the same group can also be adjus-
ted independently within the same group if they are set to different channels.
To set the group number for a particular light, press the controller knob in and hold for 3-5
seconds. When the Group selector begins to flash, remove your finger. Before the third flash,
turn the Group selector counterclockwise to select a lower group or clockwise to select a higher
group. When the controller knob is pressed in and held, it will alternate between the Group
Selector and the Channel Selector. Remove you finger while the desired selector is flashing.
