Preparing the device for use

Mounting on a stand
• Install the light with the stand holder (4) on the 5/8 inch thread of a suitable lamp stand.
• Loosen the stand holder screw (5) and turn it out so far, that you can insert the holder into the
mounting adapter of the stand
• Retighten the stand mounting screw (5) and check that the light is secure and free of obstruc-
tion on the tripod adapter
• The tilt angle of the ring light can now be adjusted by loosening the tilt adjustment wheel (6).
• Retighten the tilt adjustment wheel (6) after setting the correct angle and then check the save
and secure fit of the lamp on the tripod
• If necessary, install the mini ball head (18) in one of the two hot shoe holders (2+9).
• Attach the camera, smartphone holder or make-up mirror with the 1/4 inch screw at the top of
the ball head
• If necessary, change the tilt angle of the ball head by loosening the adjusting screw on the ball
head
• A djust the final setting and then tighten the locking screw of the ball head
• The LED ring light is ready for use
NOTE

Only mount the device on a stand that has been designed for the weight and
dimensions of the device. See technical specifications.
Make sure that the stand with the mounted device is safe against tipping over or slipping.

Power supply

7.1 Mounting and connecting the battery

• Remove the power cord before installing or using the batteries
• Set the ON / OFF switch (11) to the <0> position to switch off the device.
• I nsert two sufficiently charged, compatible NP-F batteries in the battery mounts (8) until it
locks.
• Usually a short clicking sound of the battery safety lock indicates the correct assembly of the
battery.
• Set the ON / OFF switch (11) to ON
• The device is ready for battery operation
• After using the light, please power it off and remove the batteries
• Note that two loaded batteries are required for operation.
NOTE
Use the power cord only when the batteries have been removed
NOTE
Note that the device when using battery power must generally be equipped with two
sufficiently charged, compatible battery. Operation with only one battery is not possible!
7.2 Power via mains power - operation with power supply
• Remove the batteries before installing or using the power cord.
• Set the ON / OFF switch to the <0> position to switch off the device.
• Plug the DC adapter provided into the round socket of the housing (12) and connect the plug
of the power supply unit into the socket of your local power supply (AC 100-240V/50-60 Hz.)
• Set the ON / OFF switch to ON.
• The device is ready for mains power operation.
• After using the light, please power it off.
