3.2 Product description
3.2.1 Ventilation unit
● Low energy consumption. Degree of heat
provision over 70%.
● Ventilation unit with 4 ventilation levels:
17 m³/h, 30 m³/h, 45 m³/h or 60 m³/h.
● Ventilation levels can be selected with
RLS 4 AP or RLS 4 UP Room air controls.
● External cover made of stainless steel,
plastic internal cover, white (similar
RAL 9016).
● The ventilation unit is practically
maintenance-free. You simply need to
change the filter as indicated by the filter
change display, e.g. every 6 months.
● Two air filters of filter class 4 for filtering the
outside and exhaust air in the standard
model. Also available with optional F7 class
pollen filter for the outside air.
● Complete fan unit. Simple installation by
sliding it into the wall sleeve.
● Pluggable terminal block for the power
connection.
● Fans with energy-saving, quiet DC motors.
Suitable for continuous operation.
● Electrically operated, tight-closing shutters.
These prevent inflows of cold air when the
ventilation unit is switched off.

● Plate heat exchanger. The supply air and
the exhaust air are fed through the heat
exchanger in separate channels for the
heat transfer.
● Fly protection grille.
● Condensation run-off over the external
cover.
In the case of the optional extension sleeve
with "condensation run-off extension",
which can be located on the condensation
connection.
● The other fan also switches off
automatically in the case of a fan failure.
● Both shutters close if the ventilation unit is
switched off.
3.2.2 Room air controls
RLS 4 AP Room air control
Surface-mounted version
With step switch and filter monitoring.
Operating modes: Ventilation levels 1, 2, 3, 4,
"only supply air" or "only exhaust air".
