7. Faults, Messages

7.1 Filter change display "F"

You should change the air filter, if an "F" is
flashing at the room air control.
 Change the air filter and reset the filter
change interval counter at the room air
control to zero, see Chapter 6.2.

7.2 Fault display "E"

● Call on the services of a trained
electrician any time there is a fault.
● Repairs should only be carried out by a
trained electrician.
The display "E" Error appears at the room air
control if the fan fails. The ventilation unit
switches off.
 Switch the mains supply off.
 Fix the fault.
 Switch the mains supply back on.
The fault display is automatically reset.
The ventilation unit starts at the start-up
ventilation level, see Chapter 10.2.
In the case of a power outage, open
i
the shutters to avoid any negative
pressure in the room.

8. Installation preparations

8.1 Transport

● Adhere to the valid safety and accident
prevention regulations for transportation.
● The permitted maximum load for lifting
gear, chains, ropes, etc. must be sufficient
for the total weight of the ventilation unit.
● Nobody should ever stand under a
suspended load.
8.2 Requirements at the installation
site
● Room with an ambient temperature from
-20 ...+40 °C.
● External wall with sufficient load bearing
capacity.

9. Installation (Specialist installer)

● Installation work may only be carried out by
authorised specialists.
● Take the Technical data listed in Chapter
12 into account.
● Make sure there is sufficient working space
in front of the unit, e.g. for filter changing.
● In order to avoid any smells, there should
be sufficient space between the outside air
inlet for the ventilation unit and the
sewerage vent on the roof. Make sure
there is sufficient distance.
