 Drill four holes for the external cover. Use
the supplied drilling template to mark the
positions of the holes.
How to use the drilling template [B]

 Fold both the outside flaps through
90°.
 Locate the drilling template in the
wall sleeve with the flaps facing
forward. Note the position of the
wording "OBEN".
 Mark the position of the 4 drill
holes.
 Fix the stainless steel external cover to the
external wall with 4 screws. Make sure it is
lined up correctly. The feed-through for the
condensation connection must be bottom
right, when viewed from outside. Screws
and retaining dowels must be supplied by
the customer.
 Install the cover plugs.
 Close off the wall sleeve with both the
plaster protective covers.
9.3 Installing the WRG 35-VH
Extension sleeve (Option)
Extension sleeves are used with wall
thicknesses > 346 mm.
 Remove the plaster protective cover and
the polystyrene support.
 Attach an extension sleeve on the wall
sleeve, on the outside wall side.
 Fix the two separating bridges on the fan
housing between the shutters (dovetail
connection), in order to separate the
outside and outgoing air from each other.
 If necessary, attach a further extension
sleeve and separating bridge.
A maximum of 2 extension sleeves

can be used.
 Cut the extension sleeve to length as
required for the wall thickness. Allow for
the thickness of the plaster.
 Glue the foam rubber seal to the face of the
last separating bridge, in order to create a
seal to the external cover.
 Locate the supplied "condensation run-off
extension" on the condensation connection
on the WRG housing. Cut it to the right
length for the wall thickness, allowing
20 mm projection from the wall.
9.4 Installing the compensation frame
(Option)
Supplied with the compensation

frame: Stainless steel frame, fixing
screws for the external cover,
extension ring, 2 separating bridges
and condensation run-off extension.
Mount the compensation frame on the
outside of the wall as follows:
 Locate the extension ring on the wall
sleeve.
 Fix the two separating bridges on the fan
housing between the shutters.
 Glue the foam rubber seal (included with
the final assembly set) to the last
separating bridge.
 Locate the condensation connection
extension on the fan housing and cut it to
length, allowing 20 mm projecting from the
stainless steel frame.
 Install the stainless steel frame on the
external wall.
 Cut the extension ring off flush with the
stainless steel frame.
 Install the external cover.
