• If you suspect that safe operation is no longer possible, discontinue use of the power adapter/battery
charger immediately and prevent unauthorised use.
First, turn off the mains voltage to all terminals of the mains socket to which the power adapter is con-
nected (e.g. switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then turn off at the
RCCB). Then, remove the power adapter from the mains socket. Then, disconnect any batteries that
may be connected to the battery charger.
Discontinue use of the power adapter/battery charger and take them to a specialist repair centre or
dispose of them in an environmentally-friendly manner.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if the power adapter/battery charger are vis-
ibly damaged, if they do not work at all, if they have been stored for an extended period in unfavourable
conditions or if they have been exposed to heavy loads during transport.

c) Operation

• If you do not have sufficient knowledge of how to operate remote-controlled models, contact an experi-
enced model enthusiast or a model retailer.
• Ensure that people and objects are kept at a safe distance from the motors and any other rotating parts.
• Use only the supplied drive battery (or an identical replacement drive battery) for the vehicle. Never
operate the vehicle using a power adaptor, not even for test purposes.
• This vehicle is suitable for use with two single-cell lithium-ion drive batteries (rated voltage each 3.7 V).
• Place the two drive batteries with the correct polarity into the two battery compartments of the vehicle
(note positive/+ and negative/-, see the label on the batteries and in the two battery compartments).
• When putting the device into operation, always switch the transmitter on first, followed by the vehicle.
Otherwise, the vehicle can react unpredictably.
• For operation, proceed as follows:
- Place the vehicle on a suitable base so that the wheels can turn freely.
- Switch the vehicle off.
- Place the two drive batteries with the correct polarity into the two battery compartments on the left
and right of the vehicle.
- Switch on the transmitter, if you haven't done so already. The LED on the transmitter flashes. Set the
two dials to the centre position (roughly).
- Only now switch the vehicle on. Wait a few seconds until the vehicle has completed its self-test. The
LED on the transmitter lights up continuously when the transmitter and receiver have "paired".
- On the transmitter, set the "STEERING TRIM" dial so that the front wheels are in the centre position
(roughly). A more precise setting of directional stability is carried out later when driving the vehicle.
- On the transmitter, set the "THROTTLE TRIM" dial so that the vehicle remains stationary and does not
move when the throttle/brake lever is in the centre (neutral) position.
- Check that the vehicle responds to the remote control commands as expected (steering and drive
mechanism) before removing it from the support and placing the wheels on the ground. Do not touch
the drive mechanism when doing so and do not hold the vehicle by the wheels.
