4. Switch the radiator on by pressing in the lower half of the power selector.
The indicator light shines when the power selector is pressed down and
the thermostat is on.
The power selector consists of two switches which can be pressed
independently or together.
- The left switch [ I MIN ] low power – the left indicator light
comes on when the thermostat is switched on (700 W).
- The right switch [ II MED ] medium power – the right
indicator light comes on when the thermostat is
switched on (800 W).
- Both the left [ I MIN ] and the right [ II MED ]
simultaneously – both lights come on when
the thermostat is switched on (1500 W).
5. Set the fundamental temperature setting: Set the power selector to MAX (press in
the lower half of both switches) turn the thermostat clockwise and let the radiator
get really hot. Then slowly turn the thermostat anticlockwise until it clicks and
the radiator switches off (the indicator light goes out). Leave the radiator on for
a while and fine-tune the thermostat setting to the desired temperature.
6. Switch the radiator off by pressing in the upper halves of the power selector
switches to 0. The radiator should then be unplugged if it is not to be used
any more.

Overheating protection

• The radiator has an overheat safety cut-off which switches the radiator off
automatically if it overheats, e.g. if it has been covered by something.
• If the overheat safety cut-off switch has tripped, unplug the radiator and wait about
30 minutes for it to cool.
• Check that the radiator is not damaged in any way. Remove any items covering
the radiator.
• The overheat safety cut-off switch resets itself once the radiator cools down.
Tip-over switch
The radiator is fitted with a tip-over switch which switches the radiator off if it leans or
falls over. The tip-over switch resets when the radiator is stood upright again.
