Step 3:
Installation of the pedal supports (41), connecting tubes (24) and
pedals (42).
1. Place the preassembled unit of the right pedal support (41) and one
connecting tube (41) at the right hand side of the main frame (48).
(Note: Right is specified as viewed standing on the machine during
training.)
2. Put one wave washer (60) onto the pedal crank (53).
3. Push the connecting tube (24) onto the axles' end of handlebar support
(15) and put the pedal holder (41) at the pedal axle (53) at the same time.
Put on the screw (22) a washer 8//32 (23) and tighten the connection
tube (23) at handlebar post (15) firmly. Then tighten the pedal support
holder (47) at pedal crank (53) with washer 10//32 (46) and self locking
nut (45).
4. Install the left pedal support (41) incl. all additionally required parts on
the left hand side of the machine as described in 1. – 3.
5. Push the right pedal (42R) onto the right pedal holder (41). Adjust the
holes in the parts so that they are aligned.
6. Push the screws (39) from above through the holes. Push on a washer
(36) from the opposite side and screw on a nut (37) and tighten firmly.
7. Install the left pedal (42L) on the left footrest holder (41) as described in
5. – 6. (Note: The right and left footrests can be discerned by the edges
of the longitudinal sides of the footrests. The high edges of the footrests
(42R) and (42L) must point inwards (towards the main frame.))
Step 4:
Installation of the hand grips (17) on the connecting tubes (24) and
of the computer (40) at handlebar support (15).
1. Put the plug of connection cable (11) into the socket from monitor (40)
backside and insert the plugs of pulse connection cables (8) to the jack
of the monitor (40). Attach the monitor (40) to top monitor bracket of
front post (15) with screws (9) and washer (85).
(Attention: Ensure that the cable loom are not crunched or pinched
during installation.)
2. Put the handgrip bars (17L+17R) onto the connecting tubes (24) and
adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned.
(Note: the handgrip bars must be aligned after assembly so that the
upper ends are inclined outwards (away from the support (15)).
3. Push the bolt (26) through the holes and tighten the handgrip bars (17)
with washers (52) and spring washer (6) at connection tubes (24) firmly.
4. Connect the plugs of pulse cables (8) and pulse connection cables (3)
