4.3 Temperature setting

Initial operation: Set the thermostat to a higher setting for approx 2 hours.
 You can additionally use a fridge-thermometer
temperature.
Temperature setting: Press the MODE-button (B 2) for user`s setting. Now
press the ADJUST-button (B 1) for the setting of the temperature of the cooling
compartment. The freezer compartment is set to approx. -18
SMART-Mode: Press the MODE-button (B 2) to set the SMART-mode. The
appliance will operate automatically according to the ambient temperatures around
the appliance.
SUPER-Mode: Press the MODE-button (B 2) to set the SUPER-mode. This
setting will make the appliance reach the coldest temperature for the freezer
compartment. After 54 hours the original temperature setting will be reactivated
automatically.
How to switch the appliance off: Press and hold the ADJUST-button (B 1) for 5
seconds and the appliance is switched off. To switch the appliance on, repeat the
procedure.
Door open alert: The alert is activated, if the door has been opened for more than
90 seconds; closing the door will stop the alert.

4.4 Operation parameters

1. The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures when:
a. the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b. the doors close properly.
c. you do not open the doors too often or too long.
d. the door seals are in proper condition.
e. the appliance is properly positioned.
f. you have not overfilled the appliance.
g. you do not store warm or hot food in the appliance.
2. High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest setting
may make the compressor operate permanently to keep the temperature
constant inside the appliance.
